Family Fun Day with Z-Arts

Join us and Z-Arts for an afternoon of creative activities during the festive holidays!

We have a fun-filled schedule including:

  • A visit inside Z-Arts’ immersive Fairy Tales experience! Step into a fairy tale town and through into the woods to discover a world of giants, palaces, gingerbread houses and treasure caves. Trip trap over a bridge (but watch out for the troll!), join in the palace disco with the musicians of Bremen, sit in a giant’s footprint, visit the market and help Jack win some magic beans, and much more.
  • An art workshop! Just like snowflakes, no 2 people are the same! Join us in a crafty session to celebrate your uniqueness with Z-Arts creative educator Janine to make a colourful and jazzy snowflake!
  • A music workshop! It will be a fantastic festive sing-along with Sophie.

This event is FREE for families of children & young people who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). Siblings and other family members are welcome to join!

Important Notes:

  • The events are designed for children aged 0-11 years but please feel free to join us if you think your child will enjoy it, regardless of age.
  • Please use the code LETITSNOW when booking.
  • We have reduced capacity across the activities to cater for a SEND audience.

Manchester Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with Manchester Local Authorities, Education Settings, Health Providers and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and young people (0-25 years), as well as their families, in Manchester.

We have a steering group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and listen to the views of other parents and carers in the local area to make sure they know what is important to them.
