Lyndene House offers short-term Short Break residential care for children and young people with Learning Disability and/or Autism to provide parents/carers a break from caring responsibilities, reduce the likelihood of family breakdown, support families’ ability to cope, and to avoid the need for an inpatient admission.
Lyndene also offers an outreach service, which provides specialist intensive support for children and young people with Learning Disability and/or Autism and their parents and carers within their family home, the community or at Lyndene House. They can assist families to cope and thrive, making use of different strategies that fits their individual situation through person-centred support.
