Sense, a charity that supports people with complex disabilities, including those who are deafblind, have asked us to share the following information about their Siblings and Young Carers project:

[The project] aims to deliver free, fun, engaging activities aimed at young people aged 5-18 who have a sibling or family member with a disability/additional needs. Currently, we are a virtual offer meaning all our sessions are run online through zoom. These sessions include arts and crafts, sports, book clubs, film nights and well-being sessions. Our goal is to reach siblings and young carers across the nation to provide them with opportunities to meet new people who are in similar situations to themselves, help improve their well-being and ensure they HAVE FUN!

If you, or someone you know, would like to find out more information and potentially sign up a sibling/young carer then please drop us an email on siblingsandyoungcarers@sense.org.uk. Alternatively if you follow this link, https://www.sense.org.uk/get-support/online-support/sense-connect-referral/, you can fill in the simple form and we will shortly be in touch to arrange a chat.

Thanks,

The Siblings and Young Carers Team
